Wedding Cake Instructions for Western Romance
Wedding Cake Decorating
Everything you need to get to the top fast.
Everything you need to create beautiful wedding cakes. Each style has been designed for fast and easy decorating while
offering tasteful elegance.
Before you start:
Using your favorite recipes bake, fill and assemble a 14 inch, 10 inch,
8 inch and 6 inch cake.
Take four of the included Clear Columns and, using a saw or serrated knife,
cut them down to the height of your 14 inch tier.
14 inch Cake
- Take the four Clear Columns that you have already cut down to the height of
your 14 inch cake and attach them to a 10 inch tier plate. Please refer to
the cake stand assembling instructions.
- Ice cake.
- For top border, pipe a shell border with a 16 pastry tip.
- For bottom border, pipe an S rope border using pastry tip 22.
- Take the 10 inch tier plate and columns that you used in step 1 and push them through to the bottom of the
cake using the holes that you have previously made.
- Apply Rope Fans around bottom of tier as shown in picture.
10 inch Cake
- Ice cake.
- Divide cake into 8 sections, marking off for the drapes.
- For top border, pipe a shell border with a 16 pastry tip.
- For bottom border, pipe an S rope border using pastry tip 22.
- For side border, pipe a ruffled drape with a 88 pastry tip as shown in picture.
- Take four of the included Clear Columns and fill them up with icing.
- Attach filled columns to an 8 inch tier plate, then push columns through the holes that have previously
made to the bottom of the tier, until they hit the cake board below.
- Pipe around the bottoms of the columns using pastry tip 22.
- Apply Rope Lassos and Bead Loops Gold Bunches between every other drape as shown in
picture.
- Apply Western Hat Mini Bridal Bouquets on top of
10 inch tier
and on side of 14 inch tier as shown in picture.
8 inch Cake
- Repeat steps 1) - 8) above, using a 8 inch tier plate.
- Apply Rope Bows at every other drape intersection as shown in picture.
- Apply Western Flower Mini Bridal Bouquet on top of 8 inch tier.
6 inch Cake
- Ice cake.
- Divide cake into 8 sections, marking off for the drapes
- For top border, pipe a shell border with a 16 pastry tip.
- For bottom border, pipe an S rope border using pastry tip 22.
- For side border, pipe a shell drape with a 16 pastry tip.
- Apply Rope Lassos and Bead Loops Gold Bunches, alternating between drapes as shown in
picture.
