Peanut Butter BarsYield: 24 bars 2 1/4 cups all-purpose
flour Powdered Sugar Glaze In a large bowl, combine 3/4 cup flour, 1/3 cup sugar, undissolved yeast, and salt. Heat water, milk, and butter until very warm (120 to 130 deg. F). Gradually add to flour mixture. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed of electric mixer, scraping bowl occasionally. Add egg, 1/4 cup peanuts, and 1 cup flour; beat 2 minutes at high speed. Stir in remaining flour to make a stiff batter. Turn into greased 13 x 9-inch pan. Combine melted peanut butter chips and remaining butter; spread evenly over batter. Sprinkle with remaining peanuts and sugar. Cover; let rise in warm, draft-free place until doubled in size, about 1 hour. Bake at 375 deg. F for 15 minutes or until done. Drizzle with Powdered Sugar Glaze. Cool in pan on wire rack. Cut into 24 bars (4 x 6).
