Title: Southern California Salad Layers

      Yield: 6 Servings
      4 c  Torn assorted lettuces
  1 1/2 c  Shredded red cabbage
      1    Small avocado, peeled and
      1    Sweet yellow pepper, cut
           Into thin strips
      1    Firm large tomato, diced
    1/2 c  Ripe olives, quartered

    1/4 c  White wine vinegar
    1/4 c  Cold tea
      2 T  Olive oil
      2 t  Granulated sugar
    1/4 t  Dried rosemary
    1/4 t  Dried marjoram
    1/4 t  Freshly ground black pepper
    1/8 t  Salt
  In large shallow salad bowl, arrange lettuces.  Top with layers of
  cabbage, avocado, yellow pepper, tomato and olives.  Cover and
  refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
  DRESSING:  In jar, shake together vinegar, tea, oil, sugar and
  seasonings. At serving time, pour dressing over layers; mix lightly.
