Banana Nut Bread
Serving Size : 10
2 cups Flour
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 cup Butter
1 cup Sugar
2 Eggs
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 cup mashed banana - about 3 pieces
1/3 cup Milk or Buttermilk
1 cup Nuts chopped (optional)
Cream together butter and sugar.
Add banana,
eggs, and vanilla.
Sift together dry ingredients.
Add alternately
with milk.
Blend well.
Stir in nuts, and pour into a
greased and floured loaf
pan.
Bake at 325 degrees for 1-1/4
hours.
This recipe can also be used to make banana nut muffins or as
a banana nut cake.
