Title: KATHRINE HEPBURN'S BROWNIES Categories: Dessert, Chocolate, Posted-mm, Favorite, Tried Yield: 12 servings 2 Sq. unsweetened chocolate 1/4 lb Unsalted butter 1 c Granulated sugar 2 lg Eggs 1/2 ts Vanilla extract 1/4 c All-purpose flour 1/4 ts Salt 1 c Walnuts -- chopped Melt the chocolate and the butter together in a pot. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; beating thoroughly. Stir in the flour, salt and walnuts. Pour into a greased 8"x8" metal baking pan. Bake at 325 degrees F. for 40 minutes. Remove pan to a rack to cool. Cut into 12 squares. Source: Gannett Newspaper
