Knead up some purple sugarpaste or marzipan, if you haven't any then use white paste and color it using purple food coloring.....

Roll out the paste until thin....

Using a circle cutter cut out a circle of paste....

make a ball of paste from a small amount of the trimmings.

Give it a pinch on one end.

using the small knife cut off the pinched end.
